Hello gentle friends!

Yes, folks!  That’s right.  I’m now doing a weekly snippet with Paranormal Loves Wednesdays.

My book is The Devil to Pay and here’s the set-up:

After being condemned for all eternity, fallen angel, Ayden Royce has one chance to get his freedom–if he can seduce an innocent woman and convince her to sell her soul to the devil and take his place in Hell.  This is the first time they meet.  Appearing at her window, the handsome angel has come to her, naked and wanting…

My Story:

The stranger’s presence shook Olivia to her very core. Her treacherous body began trembling and she moaned when a flood of delicious desire shot through her coupled with shock when she realized that this man was truly flesh and blood real. Suddenly, the world was fading around her and she saw something scandalous hovering in the depth of his fiery gaze.  He had come for her.

Before she knew what was happening, he had climbed through the window, his long legs landing square on her bedroom floor. Then he was walking toward her, every step a long stride as he marched toward her. She could swear she felt the vibration of his approach in the souls of her feet as he advanced.  “Who are you?”

He didn’t answer, but moved closer still, until his body was so near, Olivia could feel the steam rise from his skin. The urge to touch him overwhelmed her and for a moment she raised her hand and let it linger just inches from his chest.  “I want you,” he said simply.

The Devil to Pay is available on Kindle:

Hello, March!

Happy Almost Spring, everyone!

Yes, I know, the weather outside is frightful in a lot of places.  Snow, ice, high winds.  Brrr. Well, throw a long on the fire, crank up the heater or grab a thick quilt.  Time to settle in with a hot cup of tea, or joe, or drink of your pleasure.

What am I up to on my day off?  A little reading, enjoying some netflix and getting ready to open up some edits on my book, To Catch A Lady, due out in January of next year.

After that, it’s back to work on book 2, A Most Delicate Pursuit. A writer’s work is never done…LOL!

I thought I’d stop here before I got back to work and say Hi.  I  had a wonderful writer time yesterday at RWA Chapter: SpacecoasT Authors of Romance (STAR) meeting.

We had the fabulous Cathy Maxwell as a speaker, and she is such an inspiration.  Funny, smart, and very wise.  If you ever get the chance to hear her speak, fellow authors, don’t miss out!

Also, if you live in Florida and haven’t yet heard, STAR is hosting the incredible Hugh Howey on March 28th.

And, if that weren’t cool enough, Brenda Chin will be at the STAR Meeting on April 14th for their Super Saturday.

I so can’t wait!

Okay.  Time to get back to writing.  Have a great day, everyone!

Happy Writing!

Pam

New Release!

Woo hoo!  My Regency Paranormal romance is now available for Kindle.  It’s a story about a fallen Angel who has one chance to get out of Hell…if he can seduce a young woman and convince her to take his place.  Think Jane Austen meets The Devil and Daniel Webster.

Big things coming!

Howdy!

I hope you all have started off this new year in full awesomeness mode! After the craziness of the holidays it’s nice to just kick back and enjoy a little bit of normalcy.

As I said in the title, there are big things coming for me in 2015. On the home front, I have one daughter graduating from college and one getting married–both in May! I will be attending my very first Romantic Times Convention, also in May, the RWA National conference, in NYC, and Moonlight and Magnolias conference later in the fall.

So, busy me!

But, there’s more…

A few months ago I signed with a literary agent and I also have contracted 4 books with Penguin Random House for their digital first Loveswept line. My first book with them will be To Catch a Lady, book 1 of The Hunt Club series, which will be out in January 2016. I’m so excited!

Here’s to a breakout New Year!

Happy Reading!

Decisions, decisions…

Okay.  It’s a beautiful fall day outside.  I need to finish edits on a book that was requested by an agent.  I’m thrilled to death to get noticed!  I’m dying to get it done and in the email.

But, remember I said it was a beautiful fall day outside?  I’m getting done with day job soon and it is Food and Wine festival at Epcot. ..

Yes, that’s right.  Lovely day at epcot with daughter vs sitting, chained to my desk…

What would you do?

Decisions, decisions…

Hello fall!

Hey everyone!

Yes, fall is here and in addition to the lovely changes of color and temperatures,  it’s also the time of year for The Moonlight and Magnolias conference, hosted by the fabulous Georgia Romance Writers.  A great conference for those of us authors who wax romantic.

So, for the weekend, I have taken refuge in Atlanta, mixing it up with my fellow romance writers.   There have been some wonderful workshops and tonight is the most prestigious Maggie Award presentation.  Can’t wait for that!

Everyone have a fab weekend and I promise to post updates where I can!

Happy resding!

Happy March and New Book!

Howdy!

I just wanted to stop in a moment and wish everyone a Happy March!  Here’s hoping the weather shapes up and we all can enjoy some really nice temps and a little less of the white stuff.

Also, my alter ego, Pamela Labud is releasing her latest title: a fantasy NA story: Grave Danger, Book 1 of the Blue Star Baby Trilogy.  It’s due out tomorrow from Amazon Kindle.

A post apocalyptic zombie killing love story about Maverick Dunne, who is summoned by her ex-boyfriend to help him track down and kill a hoard of lab created zombies.

The world is struggling to survive in a nuclear winter, when on the night of her birth, Maverick is one of several babies who were born, imbued with special powers, a result of being born under a ‘Blue Star’ radioactive bombardment.

Her gift?  She’s a ‘re-animator, who, with a single touch can bring the bed back to life.

Her ex?  He has a special gift that mutates him into a zombie destroyer.  Trouble is, the two fall in love but because of their peculiar body chemistry,
the two can never really be together.

Together the two must fight to survive and thrive in a world rife with the undead, pirates, and mad scientists.

Please check it out!

Happy reading!Image

Happy Holidays!

Hello Gentle Readers!

Can you believe it’s the end of the year already?  Like everyone else, I’m stunned by how fast this year has zipped by.  It wasn’t that long ago that we were welcoming in 2013.  I’m already missing it.

As much as I mourn the passing of 2013, I can’t believe all that I’ve accomplished.

With my new/old book TO RESCUE AND EARL, (previously published as The Mad Earl) coming out Tuesday, December 17. (Finally!) I’ll have launched a book this year!

Also, I have finished two other books that are in deep edits right now:
GRAVE DANGER, my post apocalyptic zombie killing YA love story
TO CATCH A LADY, the first book of my new Regency Historical series, THE HUNT CLUB

Like many other authors, I challenged myself in November to join the National Novel Writers Month challenge and completed a 50,000 word book.  Taking it a step further, I finished my first Contemporary Medical Romance: Operation Open Heart.  Of course, still in first draft form, it’ll be a bit before it’s ready to publish, but I guarantee you it’s a book with a lot of heart, mystery, and of course, romance!

Last, but not least, I’ve also launched a daughter. NurseGirl, who is now in her own home planning and working toward her future.  I am so proud of her!

Of course, I’m also now suffering from a heavy case of Empty Nest Syndrome, lol.  Thankfully, GamerGirl will be home from college in a few days and I can stave off the symptoms until after the New Year.

News from my alter ego: Leigh Curtis!

Leigh has kinda been a slacker lately.  She’s been busy ogling picture of Hot Cowboys on Facebook, lol.  Actually, I hear she’s finishing up I’LL REMEMBER YOU, the second book in the WHISPERING PINES series.  The first book COLE’S REDEMPTION, was so much fun, that she/I couldn’t resist continuing telling stories in the town of Whispering Pines.  She’s also working on THE LADY AND THE GAMBLER, a new series in her RIDE A COWBOY universe.  Updates will be on her page:www.leighcurtiss.wordpress.com  You can like her on her own page on Facebook: Leigh Curtis.

New Facebook page:
So, what about you?  Want to share your accomplishments?  Come on over to my new Facebook Page: Pamela Labud Author, and share your story of 2013.  If you do, then you get your name in for a chance to win a $25 Amazon gift card from me!  I’ll randomly chose a winner and announce it on January 1st, 2014.

Most of all, I wish you all a very happy and blessed season.  May it bring peace, health, and renewal to you and your loved ones!

Happy Reading!

National Novel Writers Month!

Hello!

Just wanted to dip in here and give a shout out to all of my fellow nanwrimos!  It’s been a long, arduous month this far, but we’re nearing the end.  Hang in there.  Me? I only have 25,000 words written.  But, I usually pull it out the last week.  Of course, new authors, I wouldn’t recommend doing it that way.  It’s not as much fun, but pouring out words like that is exciting and invigorating!

Either way, happy writing!

Cheers!
Pam
