Oh, yeah. Elation from finishing the mss’s first draft was quickly replaced with ‘Dang, now I have to rewrite/revise the darn thing. Sigh.
Is there any better holiday movie than A Muppet Christmas Carol? Other than Oliver!, Christmas Vacation, and Scrooged, that is!
My new story, A Vampyre For Christmas is almost done! Yay! I can’t wait.
So proud of my Jamie! Straight A’s for 1st semester of Nursing School! Congrats, girl!
Sorry to be gone so long, but life being what it is, the minute I go back to work, my time for fun stuff shrinks to microscopic proportions.
One thing I have been doing, (other than working, cleaning house, and taking care of the doggies) is writing. Thankfully, the words are coming out just fine!
First of all, I’ve announced it on my Facebook and Twitter, but I finished Nano! Whoo too! 50 thousand words in 30 days. That’s the best part…the worst part? The book has another 35 thousand words minimum before it is done. Since it’s the second book in a series, I have to finish revisions on the first book, and then start writing on the third book. Small victory, the Nano, but the tip of my writing iceberg, to be sure.
Taking a break to let those books germinate a bit in my subconscious, I’m finish up (hopefully this weekend) my first Christmas story, A Vampire For Christmas! I’m hoping to have it up by the end of next weeks.
I’m also working on Leigh’s next series, the first book The Lady and the Gambler, is under way and it’s going to be a lot of fun!
So, as soon as I get something done and ready to roll out, I’ll let ya’ll know.
Until then, Merry Christmas!
My Chihuahua puppy Minnie Mo, is helping me write, lying across my arms while I type. I guess she’ll bit me if I write something she doesn’t like…
Stayed out too late last night, (for me), and starting slow this afternoon. Yikes.
Shouldn’t there be a ‘Finish the the other 50k book you stared during Nano’ month? I’m just saying we could consider it, that’s all.
