Hi all!

Life has been super busy these days, and between work, writing, and my household chores I’ve been running around like a mad woman.  So, what else is new?  Right? Right.

I did take a short vacation this weekend.  Only about 90 minutes away, but 3 days and 2 nights where I don’t have to clean, cook, or run the dogs outside every two seconds certainly qualifies as time off.

So, youngest child and I went to the Anime Festival of Orlando, and it was a hoot.  Lots of young people dressed up as their favorite anime, movie, or cartoon characters, some fun panels, and extremely talented voice actors always make it an interesting time.  Of course, these conventions aren’t for the faint of heart, or rather those sensitive to smell.  Overloaded with teenagers in all sorts of costumes:cardboard, rubber, wool, ect… You get the picture.  Plus, I’m sure the temps outside was somewhere near 100 degrees in the shade.

Super fun, it was a bittersweet time for me.  Youngest child is about to leave the nest in three weeks, the two of us spent our evening hours over the weekend watching our favorite movies.  The Scarlett Pimpernel (1982 version,) Hairspray, and Victor/Victoria, and huge amounts of anime were on the venue.

In between all of that frivolity, I did get some writing/editing done.  My alter ego, Leigh Curtis’ Strong Arms To Hold me should be uploaded and live by the end of the week.

The same for Grave Danger, in the next few weeks, too.  (I can’t wait!)

And finally, it looks like I’m going to Necronomicon in October, as a speaker!  I’m so excited about this!

My dear friend Linnea Sinclair will be the Guest of Honor!  How cool is that?

Very cool.

Okay, back to work for me.  Fun chatting with ya!

Happy Reading!
