Yep. Like everyone else, I’m going at warp speed these days.  Even though this is Sunday, the ‘day of rest,’ I’ve taken dogs to the vet, cleaned house and worked on laundry.  Thankfully, I have a little time to work on book stuff.

First off, I just updated my alter ego, Leigh Curtis’s site so if you want to check out what’s going on with my cowboy books, check it out!  www.leighcurtis.net

Second, I’ve been toiling day and night to get some book stuff done.  I’ve just finished reformatting Leigh’s book, Cole’s Redemption.  It’s now available on Kindle, Nook, and Smashwords.  I think from now on I’m going to take the advice of a good friend and pay someone else to do formatting.  So not fun, that job.

Anyway, I’ve been plugging along working on To Catch A Lady, (used to be Lord Fortune’s Folly, btw) and also working on my urban fantasy, Grave Danger.  Both are half way through revisions so not quite ready for release yet.

Finally, I went to my CFRWA meeting yesterday and it was so much fun!  I was interviewed for their “Writer’s Studio” (modeled after PBS’s Actor’s Studio) and it was awesome!

Our speaker was the dynamic and fun Gennita Low.  She’s an amazing, kick-butt author who writes wonderful romantic suspense books with Navy Sealsl.  Check out her website http://www.gennita-low.com.

As it happens, I’m the member of three Romance Writers of America and several chapters, Central Florida Romance Writers (CFRWA), Tampa Area Romance Authors(TARA), and Space Coast Authors of Romance (STAR), as well as many virtual chapters (Hearts through History, Celtic Hearts, Passionate Ink, Elements of Romance, and The Beau Monde to name a few.)

The truth is, writing is a very solitary profession and being a part of these groups is vital to me.  Not only have I made life long friends, I’ve been able to learn and hone my craft of writing over the years.  Being asked to speak or write an article for these folks is a huge honor and no matter what, I know I wouldn’t be the writer or person I am today, without them.

So, my humble thanks to all of my sister members as well as the authors who have befriended me along the way.  I am truly blessed for having known you!

Now, back to writing.  I’ve got at least six different projects in the works so it’s time to get to it.

Everyone have a great rest of the day and happy reading!

Cheers!

Pam
